Connecting Youth with Communities

On Friday, March 7, at 9:30 am, the Dickinson County CEO program will speak on the First Friday e-Call. CEO: Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities is a year-long course designed to utilize partnerships that provide an overview of business development and processes. Local business community partners with area schools to create project-based experiences.
The Dickinson County CEO class came to the 2024 Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge and made quite an impression. Class member Dakota Nisbeth was part of a video called, "Youth Entrepreneurs for the Stay." Nisbeth clearly understood there are places for him to develop his own business in Dickinson County and people who would support him to be successful. The video is part of a 3-part series which includes "Developing an Entrepreneurial Mindset" and "Growing Entrepreneurs." These videos were designed to be helpful to those working to develop Youth Entrepreneurship in their communities.
The First Friday e-Call is open to the public but requires a one-time registration. If you registered prior to December 2024, you need to re-register. The call is recorded and will reside on our First Friday archive.
