Shout Out: Local Foods Team
This week the Shout Out is from Rial Carver, Rural Grocery Initiative Program Director; and is sent for the Local Foods Team. Rial writes:
"I wanted to send a shout out of the Local Foods Team for an impressive week.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, 7/29 and 30, over 150 people came together in Salina for the KS Local Foods Summit. Breakout sessions, keynotes and the food were amazing! Huge Shout out to Rebecca McMahon, Amanda Lindahl, and the entire planning team. Hear about the event in the news.
On Thursday, 7/31, the Local Foods Team coordinated a full day of local food site visits with Representative Sharice Davids. Shout out to Quinlan Carttar, Jenny Doty, Amanda Lindahl, and Rebecca McMahon. Check out this news story about our day."
