Performance Review System in PEARS is Now Available
All extension agents should have received an email last Friday (August 8) from PEARS letting you know that the performance review system is now available for use. If you did not get the email, please check your junk or spam folder. You can access the performance review system until December 1, 2025.
Please complete all required documents, including action plans, professional development plans, action plan reports, and self-assessments in PEARS by your local deadline or by October 1, whichever comes first. To find out your local unit's deadline, check with your local unit director or regional director.
Here are a couple of reminders:
- To give board members access to your self-assessment, you MUST upload it to the File Attachment section on the Supporting Data page of your 2025 performance review. You can find step-by-step instructions in the Completing Your Agent Performance Review in PEARS document that is posted on the Agent Performance Review webpage.
- This year, board members will have access to review your Action Plan Reports (current year) and your Professional Development Plan. (next year).

You will find examples of the board evaluation forms, sample letters to board members, and other helpful information. There is also a video on the agent performance review process to help prepare board members for completing the process.
