Interim Associate Director for Extension Programs Search
I hope everyone had a wonderful local fair season – with relatively few disputes and tears and lots of education, confidence building, and maturation.
Thank you all for the extra work you do to make the fairs and 4-H projects such a success and a great experience for our 4-Hers and adult learners.
Last week at Extension Update, I announced that we will be starting the search for our interim director for extension programs. Our search and screen committee will include Laurie Chandler (chair), Chris Onstad, Christina Holmes, Julie Riniker, Jason Warner, Kay Prather and Nancy Daniels. Please join me in extending thanks to these colleagues for agreeing to serve on this very important committee.

The position will require a PhD or equivalent terminal degree, and the term of the position will be up to nine months or until the permanent position is filled. Applications will be accepted through August 22.
More importantly, the successful candidate will need to have the following characteristics: a passion for the extension mission and all aspects of extension programming, demonstrated leadership expertise, team building and team management talents, and excellent communication skills.
