Fall Ordering Season is Underway at the Kansas Forest Service

Submitted by Jennifer G. Williams

Leah Scott, Conservation Trees

Get your orders in soon! Our Conservation Trees department is halfway through the fall ordering season, and some of our most popular evergreens, including eastern red cedar and southwestern white pine will quickly be sold out! Low-cost container-grown tree and shrub seedlings are available to be used for wildlife habitat, windbreaks, wood lots, timber plantations, and Christmas tree farms - just to name a few! Shipping usually occurs within one day of ordering, and orders will be accepted through October 9.

If you call or order online, you'll also be able to pick up some specialty items that are in limited supply, like pawpaw and button bush. Remember, you can always go ahead and order your trees to reserve them, and pick them up or have them shipped at a later date. Call toll-free: 888-740-8733, or check out our website for more info! http://kfs.mybigcommerce.com
