KSRE Difference Makers is Back!

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

Whatever happened to Difference Makers? Good question that would take a long answer. Suffice it to say, KSRE Difference Makers has been resurrected, and it is in a Facebook format so that all can contribute!

Difference Makers is now on a closed Facebook page. The "closed" nature of the group means that you need to be a member to make and read posts. This page is about advancing KSRE and its mission, enhancing Extension professionalism, giving "shout outs" to our colleagues for a job well done, providing a motivational spark.

I would like to think we don't need ground rules, but it is always better to be safe than sorry. First, make sure the posts are related to KSRE, Extension and the Extension profession. Second, when posting about sensitive issues or needs for improvement, concentrate on the "what" and not the "who." Posts that violate these two rules will be deleted.

How do you become a member to the KSRE Difference Makers page. First, you need a Facebook account. Next, in the search function of your Facebook page type in "KSRE Difference Makers." Once on the KSRE Difference Makers page, click on the "Join Group" icon. I will then receive a message to add you to the group.

I sincerely hope you will enjoy the KSRE Difference Makers page. Remember, a closed group Facebook page is only good if thoughtful posts are read and made regularly by its members. So, visit KSRE Difference Makers regularly!
