Southwind Extension District Hosts Tree Care and Pruning Workshop in Humboldt

Join the Southwind Extension District on Tuesday, March 7, at 6 p.m. for a Tree Care & Pruning workshop at the Humboldt Public Library in Humboldt, KS.
Why Attend?
Trees are an investment and add so much to the landscape. In addition, they offer tremendous energy savings when strategically placed. However, an improperly placed tree can cause serious damage to property when a storm rolls in. Attend this workshop to learn more about the proper care, maintenance and pruning to help insure that your investment keeps standing tall for many years to come.

About the speaker:
Tim McDonnell, District Forester with the Kansas Forester Service, will be the presenter for this workshop. He is a Kansas Certified Nurseryman and Arborist. Tim brings a tremendous amount of knowledge and has helped numerous communities with their tree management.
