Inspire Kids to Do - Join 30 Days of Doing

Submitted by Amy Sollock

As you may have already heard, this year’s National 4-H Week theme is "Inspire Kids to Do." What we love about this theme – First, it builds on the existing Grow True Leaders campaign – Second, it helps us to showcase HOW 4-H Grows True Leaders, through hands-on learning and doing.

Building up to National 4-H Week (October 7-13), we will have #30DaysofDoing. 30 Days of Doing celebrates kids who are doing great things all across the country, for the entire month of September. We are going to celebrate kids who “do” things a with purpose across our state through fun tools, tips, resources and stories for moms and kids.

Join us for #30DaysofDoing this September! It’s Easy!

1. Help promote the Twitter Party! Join on August 28 at our Twitter Party to get fun, skill-building ideas for your kids. Get ready to be inspired, meet fellow doers and win prizes.
2. Encourage parents in your community to download our “Inspire to Do” list for fun, hands-on learning activities!
3. Advertise the photo contest. During the month of September, encourage kids in your communities to enter the Inspire Kids to Do Contest. Parents and legal guardians could win a $10,000 scholarship for their kid—and Kansas 4-H could receive $10,000!
