Resources from KSU's Teaching and Learning Center

Submitted by Jennifer R Wilson

K-State's Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) is a great, yet unknown, resource for many Extension professionals. The TLC provides support for innovative teaching and learning both in and out of the formal classroom. They offer webinars, workshops, online resources, a newsletter, and one on one consultations.

The most recent TLC Newsletter features their Teachers Thriving Remotely video series. While many of the videos in this series were aimed at classroom instruction, they're a source of great tips for any type of virtual learning. Since we often learn the most from our failures, the TLC also has a series of Remote Teaching Fails videos. KSRE's very own Brian McCornack, Entomology Department Head, is featured in this series which is a great reminder that it's OK to fail. Check it out!

If you'd like to receive the Bi-Weekly TLC newsletter, contact Tucker Jones at tuckerj@ksu.edu
