4-H Project Report Forms & Guide to Kansas 4-H Project Recognition
The 4-H KAP Revision Taskforce has been hard at work wrapping up year 1 of the pilot. We had 135 parents and leaders as well as staff in participating pilot units give us feedback on the new 4-H Project Report Forms. Thank you to the 10 pilot units (26 individual counties) for joining us on the adventure and giving good input throughout. Covid-19 definitely threw some wrinkles in our plans, but we persevered!
We are excited to announce that the new Project Report Forms, Guide to Project Recognition and supporting records/forms are available online at https://www.kansas4-h.org/resources/4-h-library/awards-and-recognition/ProjectRecognition.html.
We know that you will have questions and the Task Force wants to do to everything we can to make the transition to the new forms as smooth as possible. Two webinars for KSRE staff have been scheduled. They will cover the same material and will be one hour long. One of the two will be recorded and made available for later viewing. These two webinars will cover only material related to the new Project Report Forms. Mark your calendars for either option:

Additional trainings and resource materials are being developed for the Cover Letter and Resume portions that will be submitted for Regional Project Award Screening, as well as the video presentation that is submitted for State Project Award Evaluation.
Special thanks to Task Force members for their hard work, time, and experience throughout this re-design process. Members include: Amy Collins, Karla Hightower, Carla Nemecek, Susan Schlichting, Anissa Jepsen, and Beth Hinshaw (and former member Monica Thayer).
It is our sincere hope that more 4-H members complete records at the local level, receive project recognition, and learn important life skills such as organization, reflection, prioritizing, and growth and mastery of skill.
