Shout Out: SNAP Ed Program Agents, Educators and Assistants
Our K-State Research and Extension SNAP-Ed and EFNEP Evaluator Sue Sing Lim has this week’s Shout Out. Sue Sing wrote:
“Hi Gregg, I would like to submit a shout out for our fellow SNAP-Ed program agents, educators and assistants. I want to thank all SNAP-Ed staff who have moved above and beyond during COVID-19 to serve the low-income and limited-resource audiences. SNAP-Ed Agents, Educators and Assistants worked to inform community members of critical information on how to get affordable foods locally and how to apply for nutrition assistance programs. They also successfully reported their COVID-19 efforts in PEARS by the September deadline even though guidance for evaluation was not made available until late August.
SNAP-Ed Agents, Educators and Assistants, I want to thank for your “heart” work and dedication in making sure Kansans have access to healthy foods in this difficult times. Please keep up the good work!”
To all of our SNAP Ed agents, educators and assistants – thanks for all you do for the people we serve, our colleagues, and K-State Research and Extension.
If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve a Shout Out, please send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ghadley@ksu.edu.
