Finances and the Farm - An Online Class to Enhance your Farm Management Skills
Finances and the Farm is a first-of-its-kind online class designed exclusively for farmers and ranchers of all types to enhance their farm management skills when it comes to agricultural finance. This self-paced course provides 3 1/2 hours of content over 21 short videos with hands-on activities for participants to practice applying what they learned using either a Cattle/Crops or CSA/Farmers Market case farm. Topics include Recordkeeping, Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, Goal Setting and Managing Family Living Expenses. This class can either be taken for education-only ($100) or for Farm Service Agency Borrower's training financial credit ($300).
