Shout Out: Crop Pest Management School Team
K-State Research and Extension Midway District’s Craig Dinkel has this week’s Shout Out. Craig wrote:
“I wanted to submit a Shout Out to everyone involved in planning and putting on the virtual crop pest management schools on December 8 and 10. As a group, we made the tough decision to switch to a virtual format on November 16, which gave us three weeks to get the transition to a virtual format figured out.
Because these schools offer CEU credits for 1A commercial applicators and CCA license holders, it had to be done a specific way. Thanks for that help and guidance, Frannie Miller and Cheryl Boyer.
It took a team to accomplish this and make sure everything went smoothly during the schools. So a huge shout out to everyone involved in the planning and those who helped on the crop pest schools' days to make sure everything went smoothly: Cody Miller, Clint Bain, Jeanne Falk Jones, Sandra Wick, Kathy Gehl, Chris Long, Clinton Laflin, Jenilee Godsey, Racheal Boyle, and all the presenters.”
Isn’t it wonderful what can happen when a team comes together, even under a short timeline? Thanks to all of you for all you do for the people we serve, your colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.
If you know of a colleague or a team of colleagues who deserve a “Well done!” for doing something great, why not give them a Shout Out? Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ghadley@ksu.edu.
