Volunteer Appreciation and Programmatic Support Webinars to Launch the New 4-H Year!

Submitted by Aliah Mestrovich Seay

The Club and Project Support working group is excited to share the following webinars and resources as we re-energize our volunteers for the new 4-H year.

We challenge each and every unit across the state to have at least one 4-H volunteer participate in this online series.

A message will be going out to invite all registered 4-H volunteers this Friday, August 13.

Tuesday, August 24, at 7:00 p.m.: Re-Connect with Youth Webinar
This presentation is being offered to Kansas 4-H volunteers, educators, as well as other local community partners. Please help us share the information to those in your community about the event.

Kansas 4-H Volunteer Recognition and Appreciation Packets
This Fall, all registered Kansas 4-H Volunteers will receive a recognition and appreciation packet in the mail to express our gratitude for their support during this challenging year. More information about the packet contents and date mailed will be shared.

Thursday, September 23, at 7:00 p.m.: Re-Ignite Your Spark in Kansas 4-H Volunteer Training
This event is intended for Kansas 4-H Club Volunteers including community and project leaders. We envision this event to be a hybrid programmatic event (virtual and in-person at the local level). We encourage local units to host the training in-person and engage with presenters virtually. Local units will be encouraged to facilitate break out discussions to integrate learning and encourage engagement. More details and resources for the event will be provided at a later date.
