Shout Out: The Crew Who Helped Make the Kansas All Breeds Junior Dairy Show Happen
A big shout out to the crew who helped make the Kansas All Breeds Junior Dairy Show happen for the 56th time last weekend! This two-day event goes largely unnoticed across the state each year, but it is a unique educational opportunity for the dairy youth of Kansas that takes a lot of effort to put on. It could not be done without our local cadre of dedicated volunteers and the support of K-State Research & Extension, the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce, Kansas Dairy Commission, and the Kansas Dairy Association. Thank you Mike Brouk, Victor Gomez Leon, Steven Quanz and the KSU Dairy Judging Team, Tim Carson, Carl Garten, Sarah Maass, Justine Henderson, Shad Marston, Brett Melton, and, last but not least, Ross Mosteller, who was the recipient of the 2021 Appreciation Award for his 20+ years of service and commitment to the show!
To all of you mentioned above, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.
If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve recognition for a job well done, why not nominate them for a Shout Out. Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ksreshoutout@ksu.edu. Also, it would be very helpful if you would put "Shout Out" in the subject line of the email.
