Kansas Day Video Features Kansas Personalities and a K-State Faculty Member's Poem
“To the Stars,” a brief video produced by Kansas Tourism in honor of Kansas Day, features multiple prominent Kansans reciting lines from a poem written by Ron Wilson, director of K-State’s Huck Boyd Institute for Rural Development. The video highlights the current Kansas Tourism theme, "To the Stars." Those speaking on the video include athletes, a military veteran, performers, and other well-known Kansans such as Greg Peterson of Peterson Farm Brothers and legendary K-State football coach Bill Snyder. The video was released on Kansas Day, Saturday, January 29, 2022.
