Three Kansas 4-H'ers Headed for Norway

Submitted by Dr. Mary Kay Munson

Kansas 4-H is sponsoring three teens on the States' 4-H international Exchange Program to Norway. Arrangements have been confirmed for Madeline (Maddie) Anderson, Nathan Anderson and Abbigail MacGregor. The Andersons are 4-H members in Johnson County. Abbigail is a 4-H'er in Wabaunsee County.

This is the third try for Maddie Anderson after exchanges were cancelled the past two years due to COVID-19 and its restrictions. Nathan Anderson and Abbigale MacGregor both were added to the Norway delegation after their initial placements in Romania were discontinued by the host country.

The three Kansas teens will depart June 23 and return July 22 with about 20 4-H delegates from around the U.S. and two chaperones. Their tickets have been purchased and final payments for delegates to States' 4-H International Exchange Programs are due June 1.
