Heartland EDEN Training, December 7-8, 2022

Submitted by Elizabeth Kiss

The Heartland Extension Disaster Education Network is funded though the USDA-NIFA special needs program. Two of the Network's goals are to: establish an Emergency Management (E.M.) network within the region including KS, NE, MO, IA, and provide training for county-, regional-, and campus-based extension professionals on the E.M. system.

Heartland EDEN will host a training on December 7-8, 2022 at the Lied Lodge and Conference Center in Nebraska City, NE. All participants' expenses for up to six Kansas extension professionals will be directly paid for through project funds with travel expenses reimbursement through the University of Missouri.

To register for this opportunity, please secure your supervisor's approval; then register by emailing Elizabeth Kiss at dekiss4@ksu.edu.

Registration is requested by November 22, and will be accepted until all KSU designated spaces are filled.
