Save the Date! Extension Agent/Specialist Meet and Greet in Eastern Kansas
SAVE THE DATE for an Extension Agent/Specialist Meet & Greet.
Who: County agents from Eastern Regions and extension specialists from Northeast Area Office, Southeast Research and Extension Center, Olathe Horticulture Research and Extension Center and the John C. Pair Center.

Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Please register by 5 p.m., January 2, to attend to assure appropriate meal count. Register here.
Agents are welcome to attend this event at either site, but are encouraged to choose the closest site to their home county.
There will be rotating sessions where agents will have the opportunity to choose which extension specialist they want to learn more about and then rotate from session to session. Lunch provided.
Topics will include
1. ICE BREAKER - get to know the extension specialists and the county agents.
2. FACILITY OVERVIEW/HIGHLIGHTS – learn more about each facility, its resources, and research/extension programming.
3. PROGRAMMING/NEEDS ASSESSMENT – Learn about the extension specialists’ programming offerings for agents and what needs/opportunities agents can share with specialists.
4. COMMUNICATION – Sharing between extension specialists and county/district agents on expectations and how we communicate.
