Kansas 4-H Youth Development Microsoft Team
Submitted by McKenzie Zimmermann on behalf of the Kansas 4-H State Team
We are thrilled to share some exciting news regarding a significant improvement in our communication channels. By the end of January 2024, with a target goal of Program Rally, we will be transitioning to a dedicated Microsoft Team focused on Youth Development, aptly named "Kansas 4-H Youth Development."
Previously, we utilized the Youth Development PFT Channel in the KSRE Resources Microsoft Team for communicating important information related to educational opportunities, invoices, trainings, professional development, and other critical aspects of our program. This served as a temporary solution while our team diligently worked on establishing streamlined processes to better serve our system.
The new Kansas 4-H Youth Development Team will encompass vital information on the following topics:
- 4-H Clubs
- 4-H in a District
- Awards and Recognition
- Camp
- Cloverbuds
- Curriculum
- Education Experiences
- Enrollment
- Evaluation
- Micro-Credentials
- Professional Development
- Project
- School Enrichment
- Volunteers
During the transition, you will still have access to all documents in the PFT Youth Development channel. We are actively working on organizing and migrating files to the new team. Once this process is complete, we will notify the system that the main 4-H Youth Development documents will only be accessible on the new Kansas 4-H Youth Development Team.
To become a member of this team, kindly submit a request to join by searching for "Kansas 4-H Youth Development" in the Microsoft Teams search bar. When the team is ready to go live, we will begin accepting members and send an email to the KSRE Listserv to announce its availability.
Your flexibility and understanding during these changes at the State level are greatly appreciated. Our ultimate goal is to provide you with relevant and timely information in the most accessible ways possible.
For any questions about the new team, please don't hesitate to contact the State 4-H Office at 785-532-5800.
Thank you for your continued support!
