Local Food System Professional Development on March 27th
All Extension agents and specialists are welcome to join the Local Food Transdisciplinary team for our March meeting on Wednesday, March 27th at 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.
Dr. Sophie Ano from Fort Hays State will be providing a presentation on a recent research project entitled "An Investigation of Food System Localization Efforts in Kansas Municipalities." This research uses city managers' interview and survey data to identify practices, projects and policies around local food systems. Several challenges are identified and discussed in this presentation.
