Shout Out: Travis Carmichael
This week the Shout Out is from Jenni Carr, Harper County Ag and Natural Resources Agent; and is sent for Travis Carmichael, Lyon County Horticulture and Community Development Agent. Jenni writes:
"I would like to give a shout out to Travis Carmicheal. I was scheduled to do a container gardening presentation for our countywide project "Tuesdays Together." I was using a PowerPoint presentation that Travis had put together and included on the Horticulture resources page for agents. Unforeseen circumstances a few days before the event dictated that I would not be able to attend the gathering and one of our community partners who had seen the presentation before agreed to present the information. She reached out to Travis with questions to further her understanding and he shared his thoughts and offered to answer any questions that the attendees might have via email after the event. I appreciate great Horticulture agents like Travis Carmicheal sharing their resources and knowledge with me."
Travis, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.
