Nominate Your Colleagues for KSRE Awards
As we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of the land-grant institution, I am constantly amazed by the incredible dedication and remarkable achievements of our faculty and staff of K-State Research and Extension. Today, I write to you with an important reminder and an invitation to recognize the outstanding work being done by our community.
It gives me immense pleasure to announce the call for nominations for the important K-State Research and Extension Awards that will be given during the K-State Research and Extension Annual Conference in October. These awards serve as evidence of the hard work, innovation, and impact that our colleagues are making across research and extension. It is an opportunity to honor those who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, creativity, and impact in engaging with communities, researching, and delivering transformative educational programs, addressing local needs, and providing mentoring and support to others.
I encourage each of you to reflect upon the remarkable accomplishments of your peers and consider nominating them for these awards. Additionally, I invite you to self-nominate if you believe your own contributions deserve recognition.
Nominating a deserving colleague is a simple yet meaningful gesture that not only acknowledges their achievements but also serves as a catalyst for further growth and inspiration within our community. By highlighting their accomplishments, we foster a culture of excellence and provide our colleagues with the recognition they truly deserve.
There are twelve award categories, including three new awards this year which will reward the efforts of our newest colleagues. Additional changes include the sunsetting of the Outstanding PFT and the Communicator of the Year awards.
