Shout Out: Rebecca McMahon
This week the Shout Out is from Amanda Lindahl, Local Food Systems Program Coordinator; and is sent for Rebecca McMahon, Local Food Systems Program Administrator. Amanda writes:
"Shout out to Rebecca McMahon, Kansas Local Food Systems Program Administrator, for taking charge and leading us through a very successful first Kansas Local Food Summit. We gathered with more than 150 local food system advocates and joined to hear from phenomenal keynote speakers, local food system experts, and to learn from one another. Rebecca did such a great job facilitating our organizing committee and doing so much of the logistical event organizing in order to make the summit run smoothly. I’ve only heard excellent feedback about our first statewide summit and so many folks sharing about the real value of connecting and collaborating with others. As this was the first time that I experienced organizing a statewide summit for KSRE, I was amazed at the details that Rebecca thought about and made happen. All star award to Rebecca!"
