Shout Out: Laurel Despain
This week the Shout Out is from Helen Giefer, Thomas County ANR Agent; and is sent for Laurel Despain, Thomas County 4-H and Youth Development Agent. Helen writes:
"I'd like to give a big shout-out to my fellow county agent, Laurel Despain. Since I started work a few months ago, she has been extremely helpful and patient with me while answering my many questions. After a hectic fair week in which she spent many long, hard hours at the fairgrounds making sure everything was running smoothly, our office professional resigned, and she went to work learning how to handle the office financials while also tidying up county fair odds and ends and getting things in line for state fair. On top of all of that, she and her husband, Logan, have been kept busy as the parents of a spirited toddler. Laurel, thank you so much for all that you do!"
