JOANN Partnership Update
Earlier this month we received the following message from National 4-H Council regarding the partnership with JOANN.
JOANN has been a proud partner of 4-H since 2017, donating over $6.5M during the partnership, $3.3M of which came from consumer-driven, point-of-sale campaigns. They have also contributed through 4-H rewards card and fabric sales, Legacy Awards event sponsorships, and National 4-H Council Board of Trustees involvement. Funding through the partnership has benefitted local 4-H programs across the country.
After significant business changes at the company over the last year, we were notified that JOANN leadership was reevaluating their existing partnerships and has made the determination to terminate our partnership early. Changes in alignment and evolution of partnerships is a normal part of the corporate fund development process.
While there will be no further fundraising efforts with JOANN, we are thankful and appreciative of the support local 4-H programs have shown to this partnership. The end of this partnership is in no way a reflection of the tremendous work happening in their local communities. We appreciate JOANN's past partnership and their support to 4-H, and we look forward to continuing to build our Cause marketing portfolio with new partners moving forward.
