Innovating Together for Impact
Submitted by Office of Engagement
The K-State Research and Extension annual conference on October 22-24 will serve as a catalyst for campus-wide collaboration, uniting faculty, staff, extension agents and specialists to explore new avenues for partnership.
These collaborations are essential to delivering on K-State’s promise to support every Kansan.
Kansas State University's commitment to transformative partnerships has sparked a new era of collaborative problem-solving, community engagement and societal impact. Building on successful initiatives like the Immunize Kansas Coalition and Jackson County's childcare task force, K-State is poised to enhance its impact through innovative partnerships that bridge academic expertise, community connections and industry resources.
By fostering inter- and transdisciplinary efforts, K-State is fostering dialogue among diverse stakeholders, aiming to address complex challenges through collective action. Examples include:
- Tackling rural healthcare disparities through collaboration between K-State 105, extension and The University of Kansas Health System,
- Developing sustainable agriculture solutions through partnerships involving K-State's College of Agriculture, K-State Research and Extension and industry leaders
We invite you to participate during the PFT networking event or the World Café to share your ideas, expertise and passion for collaborative problem-solving at the annual conference. Together, let's shape the future of engagement and partnership at K-State.
