Mark Your Calendars for Future Facilitation Opportunities

Submitted by Kyler Langvardt

The K-State Extension Facilitation Initiative invites you to these future training opportunities to build your facilitative skills!

Facilitation Initiative Intensive Training (FIIT):

Join other extension agents, specialists and partners to dive deep into facilitative skills and tools over this three day training. Participants will work with peer leaders to identify a current/future situation where facilitation could be utilized, practice convergent and divergent facilitative tools and then conduct an extended facilitation with fellow participants to gain valuable feedback. This training is conducted by Extension Facilitation team members and is offered at no cost to Extension faculty, staff and board members.

(*As a part of the new agent professional development requirements, agents are expected to participate in a facilitation experience, such as FIIT, within the first three years of employment)

  • Spring 2025 – April 13th through 15th at Kansas State University Campus Olathe
  • Fall 2026 – December 1st through 3rd at Rock Springs Ranch
