Annual Conference Reminders

Registration: If you have not registered, please click here or go to the conference website.

Parking: Permits were mailed late last week to those who purchased conference permits for use in the K-State parking garage. You MUST bring this permit with you and use it to enter and exit the parking garage. If you do not receive your permit in the mail by Friday (October 16) or if you have questions, please contact the conference registration office at registration@k-state.edu or 785-532-5569.

Research Mini-Symposium: "New Precision Technologies for Ag Decision Making: Addressing the Challenges and Limitations" will be Wednesday afternoon from 1 to 8:30 at the IGP Institute, 1900 Kimball Avenue. For more details, check the conference schedule.

Awards luncheon: Thursday, October 22, at noon. You must register for the conference and check that you will be attending the luncheon to receive a ticket for the free lunch.

Conference app: Access the conference schedule on your smartphone or tablet. Download the free app at http://free.eventbase.com/download. For best results, wait a few minutes between downloading the app and searching under “conferences” for “K-State Research and Extension.” Mark your favorites to customize your conference schedule.

Maps: With the K-State Student Union under construction, some rooms and stairways are not available. Use the map in the conference program to help you locate rooms.

Free 2015 Wheat Commission recipe books:  Pick up your copies from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., October 20 to 22 at the Kansas Wheat Innovation Center, 1990 Kimball Ave.

Wednesday morning speakers — Glenn Phelps and Val McPherson — will refer to the
Entrepreneurial Profile 10 assessment. If you haven’t taken the EP10, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Visit https://www.gallupstrengthscenter.com/Register.
  2. Copy and paste the access code ESF-9426J-3G8SC into the available field, and click Continue.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to create a Gallup Strengths Center account. If you already have an account, you will need to sign in.
  4. Once registered, you will be able to take the EP10 assessment. Please give yourself 30 minutes of uninterrupted time to complete it.

Please print your results and bring them to annual conference or save them to a file that you can refer to during the conference.
