Shout Out
Donna Krug offers this week’s Shout Out to Cottonwood District agents Susan Schlichting, Berny Unruh, Rip Winkel, and Alicia Boor for their work with the Monarchs on the Move activities the past few months. After having to reschedule the planting of milkweed plants twice, these dedicated agents – along with Extension Master Gardeners, board members and youth – met at 6:30 a.m. on June 18th to plant over 400 plants to provide a place for the Monarchs to feed and reproduce. Of course, it also provides a place to learn, too!
