CREE Webinar: Touchless Transactions
Many of us are working to help our agricultural (and other local) businesses sell their products in innovative ways right now. The Center for Rural Enterprise Engagement (CREE) has prepared resources to guide stakeholders as they navigate the need to sell products online without physical interaction with customers, whether they are grappling with this challenge now or will in the future. Among the resources listed on our landing page (https://ruralengagement.org/touchlesstransactions/) are a blog post and a podcast episode. This week we are hosting a webinar about online selling during the time of COVID-19. Please share with your stakeholders and join yourself.
The webinar, Thursday, May 21 at 2 p.m., will be presented by Dr. Cheryl Boyer and CREE co-founders Dr. Lauri Baker, University of Florida; and Dr. Hikaru Peterson, University of Minnesota. It will provide tactical tools, new research from CREE, and guidance on platforms for setting up e-commerce for small businesses. Register for free here: bit.ly/TouchlessTransactions. A recording of the webinar will be posted to the page linked above as we continue to update it and add relevant resources.
