4-H Shooting Sports Sweepstakes Trophy

The determination has been made administratively regarding the 4-H Shooting Sports Tom Davison Sweepstakes Trophy to display as follows:
The home display will be at the Kansas State 4-H office in Umberger Hall on the K-State Campus.
Temporary displays are planned for the Kansas State Fair, the three Fall State Matches, the Spring State Match, State Level I Instructor Training at Rock Springs 4-H Center, and the possible National Level II Instructor Training event at Rock Springs 4-H Center proposed for early May 2023.
The decision has been made after considering the requests for display at local county fairs and other local events and determining that the logistics of those additional opportunities would leave some extension units out. Consultation with some of the previous award winner states was made and we found that this has been tried and was detrimental to the safe keeping of the large and somewhat fragile trophy. Repairs and replacement parts have been made in past years to fix unintended damages to the trophy.
