Brian Olson Announced as Head of the Western Kansas Research-Extension Centers
Brian Olson will become the head for the Western Kansas Research-Extension Centers, beginning on September 19. Bob Weaber will remain acting head until Olson officially assumes this position.
Since 2014, Olson has been the manager at the Bayer/Monsanto Water Utilization Learning Center. Prior to this position, he was with Kansas State University from 2001-2011 as associate and assistant professor and northwest crops and soils specialist and multi-county agronomist for Kansas State University at the Northwest Research and Extension Center.
Olson received his Bachelor of Science in agronomy from Illinois State University, and his master's and doctoral degrees from Kansas State University.
