Kansas 4-H Membership Achievement Pin Applications Revision Process

Submitted by Amy Sollock

Please be aware that a small committee has been formed to revise our current Kansas 4-H Membership Achievement Pin Applications. Dr. Sarah Maass, State 4-H Program Leader, has asked that we have an updated set of Pin Applications by September 1, so that the KSRE system has a chance to review it prior to the start of the new 4-H year on October 1, 2023. Committee members include:

  • Jessica Flory, 4-H Youth Development Agent, Frontier District
  • Justin Goodno, Ag & Natural Resource Agent, Barber County
  • Beth Hinshaw, 4-H Youth Development Extension Specialist, Central
  • Nancy Honig, Family & Consumer Science Agent, Wild West District
  • Nora Rhoades, Director, 4-H Youth Development Agent, Post Rock District
  • Amy Sollock, 4-H Youth Development Extension Specialist, Southwest

Our 4-H program offerings have certainly changed over the years, and the availability of certain opportunities have evolved. Our Pin Applications need to reflect those changes to stay relevant and reinforce a positive growth mindset as they advance from year to year.
