Website Accessibility
As you may already know, last year the ADA was updated to require all government entities to be compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. The deadline to have this complete is April 24, 2026. Each local unit will be responsible for updating their website to meet these guidelines by the above deadline. Our amazing web services team is working with an AI tool called SiteImprove, which crawls the website for accessibility errors and puts them in a neat list. Please assign one person from your local unit to be the "site owner" and request access to SiteImprove and receive training. Access can be requested here.
