Annual Biodiesel Workshop: Challenges & Advantages of Using Biodiesel
A few spaces still remain for the the Biodiesel Workshop: Challenges & Advantages of Using Biodiesel occurring tomorrow, January 8, in Topeka. The workshop brings producers, refiners, retailers, distributors, mechanics and others interested in biodiesel and diesel fuel together.
This year's workshop includes representatives from a major Kansas biodiesel producer, a biodiesel quality expert, a diesel mechanic, a producer who uses biodiesel, a distributor of diesel fuels, and legislative representative. The featured presentation will be a case study about the Minnesota biodiesel mandates that have been in place now for nearly 15 years.
If you are interested in attending, please contact Ed Brokesh, ebrokesh@ksu.edu, or email Jancey Hall at the Kansas Soybean Association, hall@kansassoybeans.org.
The workshop is being produced by the Kansas Biodiesel Consortium, K-State Research and Extension, Kansas Soybean Commission, and Central Kansas Clean Cities. There isn't a charge for attending the workshop. Lunch is included.
