Quality Professional Development Opportunity

Leadership Development

"Leadership is an activity, not a position." That's one of Kansas Leadership Center's (KLC) Guiding Principles. For the third year, K-State Research and Extension has been granted a KLC Transformation Grant which allows our faculty and staff to participate in leadership training. Early on, we prioritized our slots for local Extension agents, but this year we're opening the door wide open for all KSRE participants.

The KLC Leadership Path is a 3-step process, which should be taken sequentially:

1) Your Leadership Edge: GROW YOURSELF
A 2-day foundational training that introduces core concepts in KLC’s powerful leadership framework. (Value: $399)

2) Lead for Change: MOBILIZE OTHERS
Continue learning with this multi-session. Deepen your skills and confidence to engage others. (Value: $799)

3) Equip To Lead: CREATE CHANGE
Learn to build a culture of leadership where you live, work or volunteer in this 2-day program. (Value: $449)

To register, go to https://kansasleadershipcenter.org/ and register for the session of your choosing. Promo code: KSRE2021

Over the past two years, 66 K-State Research and Extension faculty have participated in these trainings, receiving more than $70,000 of free training. Questions? Contact any of the Transformation Grant team:
