Shout Out: Bernadette Trieb
The Shout Out this week comes from Stephanie Maike, 4-H program assistant/office professional in the Wabaunsee County Extension office and is directed to Bernadette Trieb, FCS agent, also in the Wabaunsee County office. Stephanie writes:
"I want to send a HUGE shout out to Bernadette Trieb! The last couple of years have been full of challenges, changes, growth and memories. Through the office turnovers, COVID-19, county fairs, Medicare Open Enrollment and day to day tasks, she has kept her contagious smile and laughter filling our office! We are so lucky to have her wealth of knowledge and compassion in Wabaunsee County!
As a youth I looked up to her as a new agent in my later 4-H years. I have fond memories with Bernadette on exchange trips, bringing my fair practice goodies to the office, through multiple leadership events and EVERYTHING in between. She helped shape me into a leader and has supported me throughout all these years. Thank you would never touch the impact she has made on me. I am the lucky one to call her my co-worker now! Who knew we would still be giggling about Niagara Falls almost 10 years later! Thank you, Bernadette, for being such a great mentor both then and now!"
