Shout Out: Pam Paulsen

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

The Shout Out this week comes from Londa Nwadike, State Extension Food Safety Specialist, Kansas State University/ University of Missouri, and is directed to Pam Paulsen, Reno County Extension Director. Londa writes:

"I would like to give a shout out to Pam Paulsen, Reno County Extension Director and Horticulture Agent. In addition to all the other great things that I know Pam does, she has willingly taken on teaching our statewide morel mushroom identification training, which has now become the statewide training for Kansas and Missouri. She does a great job on this training, including taking her own (beautiful) pictures of mushrooms to include in the training and attending national mushroom trainings to further her knowledge. She has added a great deal of her own experiences to the training and does a great job responding to questions as well.

She was asked to speak at a national conference on the topic of mushrooms due to her knowledge. Thanks Pam for all you do!"

Pam, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.

If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve recognition for a job well done, why not nominate them for a Shout Out. Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ksreshoutout@ksu.edu. Also, it would be very helpful if you would put "Shout Out" in the subject line of the email.
