Search Underway – Regional Extension Specialist for Family and Consumer Sciences, SE Research-Extension Center
A nationwide search is underway for the next Regional Extension Specialist for Family and Consumer Sciences in the SE Research-Extension Center in Parsons. The person selected for the position will provide leadership for Extension agents in SE Kansas providing programming in family and consumer sciences, including, but not limited to, nutrition, family community health, family life, aging, food safety, parenting, communication, financial management, leadership, health and safety. The person selected will provide transformational leadership and support for extension initiatives, including community-based education and policy system and environmental change (PSE) approaches that address social determinates of health.
Minimum degree requirement is a master’s degree in Family and Consumer Sciences, nutrition subject matter, Master of Public Health (MPH) or closely related field.
