Shout Out: Lori Wuellner, Chiquita Miller, and Jo McLeland, Wyandotte County
This week the Shout Out is from Erin Martinez, Associate Professor and Extension Specialist, College of Health and Human Sciences, and the NSF Smart and Connected Communities Team at K-State; and is sent for Lori Wuellner, Chiquita Miller, and Jo McLeland, Wyandotte County. Erin writes:
"We would like to shout out Lori Wuellner, Chiquita Miller, and Jo McLeland for their extraordinary efforts in supporting our NSF-funded research collaboration. Their willingness to reschedule a critical focus group with older adults in Wyandotte County at the eleventh hour due to a COVID diagnosis is a testament to their commitment to supporting research at K-State. Their ability to mobilize their vast network in WYCO and assemble a representative group of nearly 30 individuals was truly impressive. Their engagement and flexibility have significantly contributed to the success of this interdisciplinary collaboration between the Colleges of Health and Human Sciences, Arts and Sciences, and Engineering. From our team to yours, thank you!"
Lori, Chiquita, and Jo -- thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.
