National Extension Conference on Volunteerism

Submitted by Karen Blakeslee

Early-bird conference registration is open during the month of March for the National Extension Conference on Volunteerism - Lite Virtual (NECV-L) 2021! The conference is lined-up with experts and practitioners in the field to share their research and best practices for volunteer development and exciting keynote speaker, Chad Littlefield! We'll also hear about appreciation from University of Maryland Volunteer Specialist, Jamie Morris!

Particularly notable is that the conference will showcase 29 lightening talks by professionals from across the country! The fun is slated to start (virtually) with pre-conferences on April 26, 2021! Find a preview of the conference schedule here.

Early-bird registration is only $50 until March 31. Registration will be $75 beginning on April 1 with registration closing on April 12.

Conference login information will be sent 5-7 days before the conference, for all who have registered through the online system.

NECV-L Volunteers Needed!

Here is your chance to serve our conference needs through a virtual environment! The national planning committee is recruiting volunteers to serve virtually!

• Co-host a Zoom room for colleagues across the nation!
• You'll be expected to participate in an online orientation and host two conference sessions.
• You'll still need to register for the conference.

Limited spaces are available; so snatch up this national professional serving opportunity by applying here.

Make sure you're saving the dates of April 24-28, 2022 for an exciting NECV at the Hard Rock Hotel and Conference Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where we hope to be back live and in-person!
