Take a Quick Survey to Help Us Develop Resources for Reporting Indirect Contacts

Submitted by Jennifer Wilson

During last Friday's Extension Update, we announced that beginning October 1, 2021, our system will undergo some reporting changes.

  1. We will no longer be able to use visual estimates to report the race, ethnicity, and gender of client contacts. Program participants will need to self-report.

  2. We will require the use of program activity reports in PEARS.

  3. The reporting of indirect contacts will be strongly encouraged to help us get a better idea of how we are reaching the public with educational messages.

A committee is working on developing educational resources to help make this a smooth transition and we need your input. Please take a couple of minutes to complete a survey about your needs related to reporting indirect educational contacts.
