Save the Date for Water Resource Management Virtual Training
The Natural Resources Professional Focus Team and KCARE have announced the third theme of their Virtual Training Series, titled "Water Resource Management and Irrigation in Kansas." This series of five workshops will provide overviews on a variety of key issues related to irrigation and water management, and experts will present on topics including: sustainable management of water resources, understanding irrigation systems and new technologies, climate and weather resources to support water decisions, innovative water management technologies and irrigating lawns and urban water conservation.
These five separate trainings will be conducted via zoom on March 24-25; March 30-31; and April 8, from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Each presentation will be followed by an open discussion forum with specialists, Kansas State University faculty, extension agents and other experts who will answer questions or offer additional knowledge. More details on the agenda and presenters will be available soon.
