Shout Out: Susie Wilkinson
This week’s Shout Out comes from Keli Yungeberg, an executive assistant in the office of the Dean and Director of the College of Agriculture and K-State Research and Extension. Keli wrote:
“Last fall, the university initiated the Every Wildcat a Wellcat (EWAW) campaign. I was charged with being the point person for the College of Agriculture to work with the departments and K-State Research and Extension to get an estimated number of kits needed and then distributed to the employees. Susie Wilkinson worked with me to gather the information for extension units, both on campus and across the state. The kits for extension were sent to her as one large order, and she then separated them out by the number of kits needed for each extension unit. She coordinated the distribution of these kits with the counties and ensured they were sent out in a timely manner.
This same process was repeated again in January 2021, and Susie once again stepped up to assist with the EWAW kits for extension. She had more than 550 kits to separate and distribute both times. I really appreciated her assistance in getting these kits out to extension employees and I’m sure they did, as well, so they could continue their work in a safe manner. Thank you Susie!”
