Would You Like to Serve on the Kansas Leadership Center Core Team

Submitted by Nancy Daniels

K-State Extension is looking for a motivated agent to serve on the Kansas Leadership Center Core Team. Since 2019, K-State has had a partnership with the Kansas Leadership Center to provide high-quality leadership development classes for our agents. We are about to apply for our 8th year of partnership and would like to inject new energy into the KLC Core team. More than $120,000 of high quality professional development has been provided by KLC. In 2022, K-State Extension nominated KLC for the ESP "Friend of Extension" Award and KLC was a winner.

We desire an agent from each of our domains: Community Vitality, Ag and Natural Resources, Family and Consumer Sciences, and 4-H Youth Development. We currently don't have an ANR agent on our team. The agent's role is to attend, or have previously attended, KLC training, and be an enthusiastic proponent for their colleagues to attend. The Core Team meetings are intermittent, with primary correspondence through e-mail.

If you are interested in serving, please email Nancy Daniels, nkdaniels@ksu.edu.

Thank you for your consideration, the KLC Core Team:

Nancy Daniels, Robin Eubank-Callis, Chiquita Miller, and Nora Rhoades.
