Preparing for Agricultural Challenges in 2023, a Pre-Annual Conference Event

Submitted by Sandy Johnson

The Crops, Farm Management and Livestock PFTs invite Extension agents and specialists to attend a program October 17, starting at 2 p.m. at the Stanley Stout Center, Manhattan, to help agents and their producers prepare for anticipated serious crop, livestock production and economic-financial challenges in 2023.

The program will begin with a weather outlook. Next, issues and their anticipated impacts will be discussed from economic, agronomic and livestock perspectives.

The formal program will wrap up at 5 p.m. to allow time for informal networking for agents and specialists working in these areas. A meal will be served at 6 p.m. Please RSVP your attendance for meal planning purposes by October 10, here. For more information, contact Jeanne Falk Jones, jfalkjones@ksu.edu; Daniel Obrien, dobrien@ksu.edu; or Sandy Johnson, sandyj@ksu.edu.
