Shout Out: Tara Solomon-Smith

Submitted by Gregg Hadley

The Shout Out this week comes from Frances Graves, Wildcat District Director, and is sent for Tara Solomon-Smith, newly appointed Southwind District Family and Community Wellness Extension Agent. Frances writes:

"I’d like to give a shout-out to Tara Solomon-Smith, Adult Development and Aging Agent with the Wildcat District for the past five years, who will transition to the Southwind District this month. The Wildcat team is sad to lose Tara, who started her career in the Southwind District, but are thankful she will remain in our system and work closer to home. The Wildcat and Southwind districts have collaborated on many programs over the past few years and we appreciate the cooperative spirit of all of their agents. We are very thankful for Tara’s leadership, her excellent service to the people of our four counties, and look forward to working with her in her new role."

Tara, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.

If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve recognition for a job well done, why not nominate them for a Shout Out. Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ksreshoutout@ksu.edu. Also, it would be very helpful if you would put "Shout Out" in the subject line of the email.
